Julia’s bridal shower at the Pittsburgh Field Club felt straight out of an Italian love story. Designed around a That’s Amore theme and planned flawlessly by Alexis Allen, every detail was intentional. Romantic, classic, and effortless, it was the kind of celebration that feels timeless the moment you step inside. Unsurprisingly, it became an instant FLEURBAR favorite.
Fresh florals and Italian herbs filled the space, setting the tone with warm reds, soft ivories, golden yellows, and lush greens. Striped market umbrellas and overflowing buckets of blooms added a subtle European charm, striking the perfect balance between refined and playful.
Guests gathered around the FLEURBAR cart to create lush, Italian-inspired floral bouquets. Classic red roses symbolizing love were paired with Italian ruscus and fresh, living ivy pulled straight from the cart itself, giving each arrangement a romantic, organic feel. Julia’s group made it easy. Stylish, relaxed, and genuinely joyful, bouquet building became less of an activity and more of a shared moment.
The Details
Design played a leading role throughout the space. Loree Mayer brought the vision to life through custom cart branding, graphic elements, and the interior wrap design. Our iconic newspaper-style bouquet wraps were custom created to feature Julia and Chad’s engagement photos within the pattern inside turning each bouquet into a keepsake meant to be taken home, saved, and remembered.
Alexis Allen left nothing unplanned. From the pacing of the day to the visual layers that filled the room, every element worked together seamlessly.
Beyond florals, the experience unfolded through thoughtfully curated indulgences. A gelato cart, cannoli, a beautifully styled pizza and burrata bar, and a latte station and spritz bar, each detail quietly elevating the celebration.
From the Fiori e Amore cart to the florals woven throughout the space, everything felt considered. Elevated, romantic, and effortless.
