Hannah’s Bridal Shower
There is something about a spring celebration surrounded by flowers that never goes out of style. Hannah’s bridal shower at Treesdale Country Club was designed around a fresh, next level spring palette inspired by her invitation. We layered creamy garden roses, vibrant tulips, soft ranunculus, and delicate seasonal textures with playful touches of red, pink, yellow, and blue. The result felt romantic, colorful, and effortlessly elevated. A modern take on spring florals with just enough personality to feel memorable.
The FLEURBAR Experience
The highlight of the afternoon was the FLEURBAR cart, where guests were invited to visit after brunch, mimosas and gift opening to create their own custom bouquets. Each guest selected their favorite stems while I professionally assembled their bouquet and helped guide them through their flower choices. It turns florals into something interactive and personal rather than simply décor. If you are planning a bridal shower or special celebration, consider this your sign to book the interactive bouquet bar.
One of the most special parts of the day was watching guests approach the cart. From little ones as young as two years old to grandmothers, everyone loved selecting their flowers and leaving with a bouquet created just for them. With the variety of spring colors, some guests chose to create their bespoke bouquet to match their spring dress for the occasion or focus on their favorite color such as blue with the fluffy hydrangea and delphinium or softs white by selecting roses and larkspur and lush greenery.
It is thoughtful, interactive, and always becomes one of the most memorable elements of the event.
Floral Styling Throughout the Room
In addition to the bouquet bar, we collaborated with my preferred floral partner and flower friend, Jeffrey of The Bearded Iris Floral Design to design the centerpieces throughout the space. The arrangements carried the same color story with a lush garden inspired style. Roses, tulips, and seasonal accents created movement and texture while still feeling elegant and balanced on the tables.
Together the bouquet bar and centerpieces created a cohesive floral story that felt polished, joyful, and perfectly suited for a spring celebration.
The Color Story
One of my favorite details from this event was the gorgeous lightly fragrant roses. We used Candlelight roses from Rosa Prima specially sourced for us by BW Wholesale here in Pittsburgh and they were truly everything and more. Their soft creamy tones added warmth to the palette while their natural fragrance brought an extra layer of beauty to the arrangements.
Paired with vibrant tulips, delicate ranunculus, and fresh seasonal textures, the palette felt playful yet refined. An unintentional nod to Gucci Flora, where soft pinks and creamy neutrals anchored the look while brighter tones added dimension with just the right amount of iconic. The overall effect was romantic, colorful, and effortlessly elevated.

A Celebration in Full Bloom. Bridal showers are some of my favorite events to design because they bring together beautiful details and meaningful moment. Watching guests gather around the cart, selecting flowers and leaving with something they created, makes the entire celebration feel even more special. For Hannah, it truly was a day in full bloom.
